4/16/25 UPDATE - DATE CHANGE

We were just notified from PSU that the PDQ is not ready yet. The release date will now be 4/28/25

Attention Technical Service Employees:

On April 28, 2025, an email will be sent on your PSU account to each Penn State Technical Service employee about completing a Position Description Questionnaire (PDQ). This PDQ is required for every Technical Service Employee to complete and will be done on the clock. There will be a three-week period to complete it.

This PDQ is very important in the new job evaluation process. The information gathered from these surveys will assist in writing new job descriptions. This is your chance to have a say about what duties you perform! From the information gathered, new job descriptions will be written.

We are working on developing a new evaluation plan. These new job descriptions along with the new evaluation plan will be combined to determine the grade of the job.

Your part will have a direct impact when the jobs are graded. This is why it is important that you thoroughly complete this PDQ. Take your time and answer the questions. If you have any questions, please call the Union Hall (814-548-1429) and speak to any Business Agent (Jon, Jesika or Adam)
