    Teamsters Local Union 177 was proud to represent our membership at this year's 2022 Teamsters Women's Conference held on September 19th - 21st in Seattle, Washington. The conference brought together more than 1,200 Teamsters from the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico, in sisterhood and solidarity. The annual conference is an opportunity to learn and strategize to strengthen and grow the union.

    Cadman Ready-Mix Drivers & Mechanics Join Teamsters Local 231
    09/28/22 - Teamsters Local 231
    A group of 18 drivers and mechanics working for Cadman Ready Mix at the Ferndale and Bellingham, Washington locations have voted overwhelmingly in favor of joining Teamsters Local 231. The election was then certified by the National Labor Relations Board on September 19, 2022, which means that negotiations can now begin on a first contract.

    Sept. 27, 2022 | COLLECTIVE BARGAINING | Starbucks said Monday that it wants to start contract negotiations next month at hundreds of U.S. stores that have voted to unionize. The Seattle coffee giant said it sent letters to 238 stores offering a three-week window in October to start negotiations.

    Durham School Bus Workers in Baltimore Ratify ‘Rich’ First Contract

    Sept. 26, 2022 | Drivers and monitors at Durham School Services in Baltimore have voted overwhelmingly to ratify their first collective bargaining agreement with Teamsters Local 570. The workers who provide student transportation services for Baltimore public schools voted to organize with the union in March this year.
