Retirement Program

Teamsters Local 8 retirement program provides a gift for our retiring members. 

• You must have 15 years of membership in Local 8 at the time of your retirement from Penn State to obtain your choice of a "Teamster's watch" or "Teamster's Local Union No. 8 Jacket".
   

• A watch or jacket is also available to those members who are still actively employed with 25 years of membership in Local 8.
   

• It is the responsibility of the member to call the office or contact their steward when they reach the 15/25 year threshold.
   

• With enough notice the full time officers would be happy to present the retirement gift to the member at their worksite or other appropriate location.
