On 29 April 2005 a one day training seminar was held at the
Penn Stater Conference Center. All stewards were asked to attend from the Main
Campus and all Commonwealth Campuses. Topics ranged from "How To Identify and
Write a Grievance" to "Communication Skills". We had experts in the
Job/Evaluation field, Workers Compensation, Representatives from our Law Office
of Rothman Gordon and Benefits Experts. It was a very busy day for everyone and
based upon the comments the Officer's received it was a great training day with
everyone taking something away from the sessions. Our goal is to continue the
training and updates right here on this page so check back often as well as
taking a look at the rest of the website. Encourage your members to look at our
website on a regular basis. It is constantly changing and there is a lot of
helpful information available 24/7.
